1 box angel food cake mix (dry)
1 (18 oz) can lemon pie filling
1 cup coconut

Mix well and put into a 13x9 inch greased pan (bottom only). Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Sift confectioners sugar over the bars while warm.

APPLE-CREAM CHEESE BARS
Crust
11/2 cups flour
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling
1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese
1/4 cup plus 1/3 cup sugar, divided
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups thinly sliced peeled baking apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg
Caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping, if desired

Heat oven to 400. Place all crust ingredients in medium bowl; beat at medium speed until crumbly. Press mixture into bottom and up sides of 8- or 9 inch square pan. Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Increase oven temperature to 450.

In another medium bowl, stir together cream cheese and 1/4 cup of the sugar. Stir in egg and 1/2 tsp vanilla until well-blended.

In large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add remaining 1/3 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss gently to combine. Pour cream cheese mixture into crust; spoon apple mixture over cream cheese mixture. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 400; bake an additional 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Cut into squares. Serve with warm ice cream topping. Refrigerate leftovers.
