2 c flour
4 teas sugar
1 teas baking powder
1/2 teas baking soda
1 teas salt
2 large eggs, seperated
2 c buttermilk
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 teas vanilla
Mix all the dry ingredients together
Beat egg whites until stiff
Mix egg yolks, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla and dump into the dry ingredients. Mix until just blended.Do not overmix.
Fold in the beaten egg whites.
Cook in greased griddle
