- 1 quart (bought) dill pickles, drained and sliced
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed, peeled and minced
Drain and slice pickles. Layer sliced pickles, sugar, red pepper, and garlic in clean jar. Turn jar once each day until sugar dissolves. Let stand about a week before eating.
