  • 12 pickling cucumbers, sliced to fit
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 1 cup non iodized salt (you can halve this)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • dillweed
  • pod garlic
  • sliced green tomatoes (optional)
  • sliced onions (optional)

Add cucumbers, peppers, dill, garlic, and optional green tomatoes and onions to jar.

Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil. Pour over vegetables in jar and seal. Let set for 6 weeks.
