- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 8 ounces uncooked penne pasta
- 1 jar (14.5 ounce size) Alfredo sauce
- 2 tablespoons pesto sauce
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 20 minutes or until it is cooked through, turning as needed to brown on both sides. Meanwhile, cook the pasta as directed on the package. Drain well and transfer to a large bowl. Heat the alfredo sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir the pesto into the sauce and mix well. Cut the chicken into slices or cubes and add to the pasta. Toss the chicken and pasta with the sauce. Serve immediately.
