Serves/Makes: 6
Ready in: > 5 hrs

  • 2 pounds boneless western or country style pork loin ribs
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup your favorite brand BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup plum jam (if unavailable substitute grape jelly or apricot jam)
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce, optional
  • pepper, to taste

Spray the crock insert of a 4-6 quart crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.

In a small bowl mix together the Old Bay and brown sugar. Rub mixture over the ribs thoroughly. Place ribs, onions and garlic into the sprayed crock pot insert. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.

Approximately 35 minutes before serving-drain and discard the liquid from the ribs.

In a large measuring cup or bowl add the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs in the ribs in the crock pot.

Cover and Cook on HIGH for an additional 25-30 minutes. Serve with Mashed potatoes.

Cook's Notes: My family enjoys a good mess of ribs. Boneless ribs are especially a hit at my dinner table! These are especially good because they go into to the Crockpot in the morning. No fuss no muss. Serve with Sweet Savory Corn Muffins.
