yields: 30

Marinara Sauce
1 Ib mozzarella cheese, Monterey Jack, Cheddar, Swiss
veg oil
1 c bisquick
1 t paprika
1/2 c milk
1 egg

Cut cheese into sticks 3x1/2"
Place cheese sticks on tray; freeze 1+ hour.
Heat 2" oil to 375 F in large saucepan.
Beat Bisquick, paprika, milk and egg until smooth.
Dip cheese, 1 at a time, into batter, covering completely.
Fry 8 sticks at a time 1-2 min, turning carefully, until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Let stand 3 min before serving.

(I'd add breadcrumbs into the bisquick, too)
