Makes 24 triangles

2 cups yellow cornmeal
2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp coarse ground pepper
3 large eggs
2 cups milk
1/4 cups hard margarine (or butter), melted

Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl. Make a well in center.
Beat eggs, milk and margarine in small bowl until smooth. Add to well. Stir until moistened. Spread evenly in grease 9x13 inch pan. Bake 375 F oven for about 25 minutes until edges are golden and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Make 2 lengthwise cuts about 3 inches apart. Make 3 crosswise cuts about 3 1/4 inches apart, for a total of 12 rectangles. Cut each rectangle in half diagonally.
