1 pkg yeast
3 Tbsp sugar
1 cup scalded milk
3/4 cup warm water
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 1/2 Tbsp butter
4 cups flour

Mix milk, butter, sugar, and cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water add with dried soup to flour. Mix well and cover and let rise to double, about 45 minutes. Punch down and turn into greased loaf pan. Let rise again and bake 45 minutes in metal pan at 375 F or glass pan 350 F.
