1 lb pork sausage
2 cans (16 oz) kidney beans
1 can (1 lb 13 oz) tomatoes
1 quart water
1 large onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup diced potatoes
1/2 green pepper, chopped

Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned. Pour off fat. In a large kettle combine next 9 ingredients. Add sausage. Simmer, covered, 1 hour. Add potatoes and pepper and cook covered 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender. Remove bay leaf. Better if made day before. Chill and remove fat.
