makes 64 servings

1 (14 oz) bottle ketchup
1 cup bourbon
1 cup dark brown sugar
4 pkgs (8 oz each) miniature cocktail frankfurters or 2 pkgs (16 oz each) frankfurters, sliced in 1 inch chunks

Simmer all ingredients except franks for 2 hours; stir often. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours or overnight. Reheat until sauce is hot; add franks and simmer 5 minutes.
