Serves 6

1 1/2 lbs stew beef, cubed
5 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
2 onions, sliced
1 potato, peeled and chopped
28 oz can stewed tomatoes
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp instant tapioca, uncooked

Place beef, carrots, celery, onions and potato in a bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and add to beef mixture; blend well. Place into a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours.
