Serves 6-8

2 Tbsp butter
2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cup pitted sour cherries
2 Tbsp soda

Cut butter into flour in bowl with pastry blender. Mix in sugar and salt. Combine cherries and soda in bowl; mix well. Add to flour mixture. Spoon into 9x9-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.
