  • 4 pork loin chops, cut 3/4" thick
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained, reserving
  • 3/4 cup pineapple syrup from the can
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, MIXED WITH
  • 1/4 cup water, if desired to thicken

Trim excess fat from chops; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown in large skillet. Arrange chops in bottom of crock pot.

Combine remaining ingredients except green onions and pepper strips; pour over chops.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Halfway through cooking add green onions and peppers. Thicken juices with cornstarch mixed with water, if desired.
