Makes 6 servings.

3 c. peeled cored and sliced Gala apples
2 c diced rhubarb
2 T. lemon juice
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Preheat oven to 400F.
Combine apples and rhubarb in a 2-quart glass baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine flour, sugar, oats, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Spoon over fruit.
Bake at 400F for 30 minutes, or until fruit is tender.
