BARBECUED - DEATH ROW BOURBON BEEF

Makes 8 servings.

4 lb. rump roast
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 onion, sliced
salt and pepper
3 c. Death Row Bourbon Sauce*
8 buttered Kaiser rolls

Place roast into slow cooker; sprinkle with garlic powder and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Arrange onion slices on top of roast and pour 2 cups of Bourbon Sauce over all.
Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove meat from slow cooker, shred with two forks, and return to slow cooker.
Stir remaining 1 cup of Bourbon Sauce into beef and cook for 1 more hour.
Serve hot in split, buttered Kaiser rolls.

*Death Row Bourbon Sauce can be replaced with an equal amount of commercial barbecue sauce.
