4 chicken breasts (bone-in, skin on)
1/2 cup bourbon
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 heaping tbsp whole grain mustard
1-2 cloves garlic (I used two)
1 tsp each salt and pepper
Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl, mix well. Add chicken and marinate for 4-8 hours. (Tip: to save time I throw the chicken in the marinade frozen right out of the freezer, and then it is thawed and ready to go when I get home). Remove chicken breasts from marinade and grill and basting frequently with marinade until done. Serves 4
