1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
1/2 cup medium taco sauce
2 small avocados
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic, freshly chopped
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles
1 (2 1/4-ounce) can sliced ripe olives
1 1/2 cups finely chopped green onion
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 cups finely chopped tomatoes
2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
Tortilla chips

Combine beans and taco sauce in a small in a small saucepan, mixing well; heat thoroughly. Spread in the bottom of a shallow 2 1/2-quart serving dish.

Peel, seed and mash avocados; blend in lime juice, oil and garlic. Spread carefully over bean layer. Layer next 6 ingredients over avocado layer. Serve with tortilla chips.

Serves 8.
