1 lb dried pinto beans
3 lb pork loin roast
1 tsp ground cumin, salt and oregano
3 clove garlic, chopped
1 (7 oz) can green chilies
1 tbsp chili powder
Water

Accompaniments

Soak bean overnight. Place remaining ingredients except accompaniment in crock pot on low; cover with water and cook overnight or until pork falls apart. Drain beans and place in a Dutch oven along with mixture from crock pot. Cover with water. Preheat oven to 325.

Cover pan and cook about 4 hours. Remove bean from pan. Remove bones and fat from roast and cook, uncovered, about 1 hour or until most of the liquid has been absorbed and shred with two forks. Reheat the beans. Allow everyone to make their own by using the accompaniments, meat and beans.
