Ready in: 1-2 hrs

  • 1 pound frozen hash browns (thawed)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 package (8 ounce size) shredded Velveeta
  • 1 can (small size) French fried onions

Cook hamburger and onions. Drain and set aside.

Place hash browns in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan. Place beef mixture on top of hash browns and season.

Mix together the soup and milk, pour over the hamburger. Top with shredded cheese. Cover loosely with foil and bake 45 minutes 350 degrees F.

Remove foil and sprinkle with onions. Return to oven uncovered for 5 - 10 minutes till onions are hot.
