  • 1 package (16 ounce size) fettuccine pasta
  • 1 package (10 ounce size) frozen broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper

Cook the fettuccine pasta in boiling water as directed on the package.

In another saucepan, cook the broccoli with 1-inch of water over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 6-8 minutes or until tender. Drain well.

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink. Remove the shrimp from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside to keep warm.

Add the cream cheese, milk, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth.

Stir the shrimp and broccoli into the cream cheese sauce. Stir well then let heat through for 2-3 minutes.

Serve the shrimp alfredo with broccoli over the cooked fettuccine.
