Zesty Italian Barbecue Wings

- 20 chicken wings
- 1 cup Italian salad dressing
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Remove and discard the tips from the wings. Cut the wings at the joint to separate into two pieces. In a zip-top bag or bowl, combine the wings and Italian dressing. Mix well. Place in the refrigerator and let marinate for 6-8 hours. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the melted butter, hot sauce, barbecue sauce, chili powder, and cayenne in a large bowl. Drain the marinade from the wings and add the wings to the barbecue sauce mixture. Stir well to coat the wings completely in the sauce. Using a slotted spoon or tongs, transfer the wings to a large baking dish (you don't want to crowd the wings too much). Place the wings in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until done, turning 2-3 times during the cook time. If desired, turn the oven to broil and let cook for 5 minutes to crisp the wings. Transfer the wings to a serving plate. Serve with blue cheese dressing, ranch dip, or barbecue sauce and celery sticks.
