1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. of Luke Warm Water
5 ½ C. Sifted Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
3 tsp. Baking Powder
4 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 C. Butter
2 C. Buttermilk
Dissolve yeast in water. Sift flour, soda, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter. Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast. Stir; then knead enough to hold together. Roll to ½ inch thick, and cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise at room temperature for about 45 minutes to an hour. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes.
