1 cup heavy cream
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour or cornstarch
Pinch salt
2 cups frozen corn
1/2 stick butter

Boil corn in about 2 cups water. Remove corn with slotted spoon or strainer. To the corn liquid add cream, sugar, salt, and butter. When hot, take out about a half-cup and blend this with the flour until smooth. Return to the pan and simmer, stirring constantly until thickened. Add the corn and stir until well mixed. Serve warm.
