Makes 7 cups

1 lb can pitted sweet dark cherries
2 pkgs (3 oz each) cherry flavor gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cans (8 1/4 oz each) crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Drain cherries, measuring syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add measured liquid and un-drained pineapple. Chill until thickened. Stir in cherries, celery and nuts. Pour into mold. Chill at least 4 hours.
