5 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp soda
1 cup Crisco
2 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 cups buttermilk

Sift together flour, sugar and soda. Cut in Crisco. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix with buttermilk. Stir all together and put in refrigerator. (Will keep about 1 week in refrigerator). When ready to use, roll out on lightly floured board, about 1/4 inch thick, cut with biscuit cutter. Place in greased cake pan or cookie sheet. Bake at 400 F until done (about 12 minutes).
