Fresh Citrus Sauce

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1 cup unsweetened orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier, or other orange-flavored liqueur
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a small nonaluminum saucepan; stir until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat; cover and chill thoroughly. Serve over fresh fruit, ice milk, or angel food cake. Note: Fresh Citrus Sauce may be served warm over pancakes, if desired.
