- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 3 cups chopped, cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 can (4 ounce size) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 1/2 cup small curd cottage cheese
- 1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of chicken soup
Grease the inside of the crock pot. Cook the noodles until not quite al dente. Drain well. Combine the noodles in a large bowl with the chicken and remaining ingredients. Mix well then pour into the greased crock pot. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until heated through and the noodles are tender.
