  • 2 pounds stew beef, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (4 ounce size) whole mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 cup tapioca (quick cooking)

Add the beef to the crock pot. Sprinkle with the onion soup mix.

Gently stir the remaining ingredients into the crock pot.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the beef is cooked and tender. Stir well before serving over rice or noodles.
