2 cups egg noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 white onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1/2 can water
2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp salt
Pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
3-4 tbsp butter, melted

Cook noodles until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. In a frying pan, brown beef and onion. Drain off fat. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese. Stir bread crumbs and butter together and sprinkle over cheese. Bake at 275 for 2 hours. Serves 4
