- 1 can (21 ounce size) apple pie filling
- 1 package (18 ounce size) spice cake mix
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place the apple pie filling in an even layer in the bottom of the greased baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the cake mix over the top of the pie filling. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix and then sprinkle with the chopped nuts. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until the pie filling is bubbly and the cake mix topping is lightly browned.
