Cake
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 can apple pie filling, chopped
Icing
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Dump first 8 ingredients into a large bowl and mix together. Add nuts. Fold in apple pie filling. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.5. When cake has cooled, combine icing ingredients and spoon over cake.
