  • 6 1-inch thick pork chops, fat trimmed
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 bottle (12 ounce size) 7-Up or other lemon-lime soda

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Quickly brown the pork chops on each side then place in a shallow baking dish.

Pour the 7-Up over the chops in the baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top.

Cover the pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for one hour or until the pork chops are cooked through.

Serve the 7-Up pork chops while hot.
