1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white karo syrup
2 cups raw peanuts
butter (size of an egg)
1 teaspoon soda

In a deep iron skillet cook water, sugar and syrup until it spins a thread. Add peanuts and cook until a golden color. Add soda and butter and beat. Pour into buttered sheet pan and stretch out as thin as possible. Break into peices. Keep in an air tight container.
