1 stick butter plus 1 Tbsp
1 cup flour
3 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup pecans

Mix first 3 ingredients well; chill mixture for 1 hour. Meanwhile, combine the brown sugar, egg, vanilla, pecans and Tbsp of butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and is thoroughly mixed. Set aside. Roll the dough mixture into 24 (or so) walnut size balls and place in miniature muffin tins. Press each ball down to form a "tiny pie shell" in the tin. Fill each "shell" with the pecan mixture. Bake for 15 minutes at 350F.

can dust with powdered sugar when cool.
