1 lb extra large fresh shell on shrimp ( peeled and veins taken out )
6 cloves garlic fine chopped
1 small onion chopped
1 cup broccoli crowns cut into bite size pieces
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup olive oil divide
1 Tbsp oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1 9 ounce package fresh cheese tortellini

Peel and de-vein the shrimp set aside.
Chop your garlic and onions and set aside.
Wash and cut your broccoli and set aside.
Fill 6 quart pan with water, put on stove on high and bring to a rapid boil.
In a large fry pan put about 3 Tblsp of your olive oil and the butter on med-high;
add your garlic and onions and saute for about 3 mins.
Add the broccoli and saute about 5-7 minutes ( until fork tender ).
While you are sauteing the broccoli put your tortellini in the pot with the boiling water and cook until el dante, about 7-9 minutes.
Drain tortellini and put into a serving dish.
Add your shrimp salt and pepper and oregano to the saute pan and cook for another 5-7 minutes just until the shrimp is cooked.
Add contents of saute pan to the pasta; drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
Serves 4.
