50 large mushroom, half dollar size
50 small to medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb unsalted butter, softened
6 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 long French baguette

Remove stems and set aside for another use. Set caps on a baking sheet. Curl 1 shrimp in each cap. Blend butter, garlic and parsley. Put into a pastry bag. With a star tip, pipe a rosette of butter on each cap, using about 2/3 tsp for each one. These can be cooked immediately or refrigerated for several hours.

When ready to serve, preheat oven to 400. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until butter is melted and shrimp are pink.

Meanwhile, slice baguette into thin slices. Serve the mushrooms on top of the baguette slices to soak up the garlic butter and mushroom juice. Makes 50 appetizers.
