1 cup butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Cream butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Stir in flour and walnuts until well blended. Cover and chill 30 minutes. Break off small pieces and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm and store in air-tight container.
