1 1/2 c. pecan halves
2 c. flour
1 c. butter chilled and cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 T. water
2 t. vanilla
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Position knife blade in food processor and add pecans. Process until finally chopped 5 seconds. Transfer to another bowl.
Position knife blade in food processor and add remaining ingredients. Process 30 seconds until dough is mixed into a ball; add pecans and mix with hands to form small 3/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 30 - 35 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
