1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 1/2 T. butter
1 T. Hungarian sweet paprika
3 lbs. chicken pieces, I like thighs best
2 green peppers, quartered
2 tomatoes, quartered
1 c. sour cream
1 T. flour
Saute onions in butter and add paprika and 1/2 c. water. Salt chicken pieces and add to pan. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add peppers and tomatoes and cover and simmer until chicken is tender, adding water as necessary. Remove chicken, combine sour cream and flour and add to sauce. Stir and bring to boil. Return chicken to pan and reheat. Serve with rice or pasta.
