Brussel Sprouts with Garlic and Pine Nuts

1 lb. brussel sprouts
1/2 t. salt
2 T. olive oil
1/4 c. pine nuts
2 lg. garlic cloves, minced
salt and pepper

Bring sprouts, 1/2 c. water and 1/2 t. salt to boil in 2 qt. saucepan over medium high heat. Lower heat, and simmer about 8 minutes. Drain.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add pine nuts and cook stirring frequently until nuts begin to brown, about 2 minutes.
Add garlic, cook until softened. Stir in sprouts and cook stirring constantly until heated through.
Makes 4 servings.
