  • 1 cup corn meal flour
  • 3 1/2 cups liquid

Use microwave oven with 700 watts power, or more.

Combine cornmeal and liquid (water, broth, milk, etc) in a microwave safe container. Microwave on full power for 24-28 minutes (depending on wattage and amount being cooked). Stop to stir every 5 to 6 minutes. Cook until desired consistency.

Cook\'s Notes: The ratio is 3 1/2 parts liquid to 1 cup corn meal. May have to adjust ratio depending on altitude and or type of flour. Be careful when using milk as the liquid as it tends to boil over more so use a larger container.
