- 8 cups water, divided
- 3 tea bags
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup sugar
Place half of the water in a saucepan over high heat. Add the tea bags and mint leaves and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a low simmer, cover, and let cook for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture into a pitcher. Add the sugar and stir until it is dissolved. Add the remaining water and mix. Serve over ice or chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
