  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine (or sherry)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 8 pieces chicken

Combine the garlic, soy sauce, rice wine, cider vinegar, brown sugar, minced ginger, and chicken pieces in a zip-top freezer bag.

Seal bag and store in freezer.

The night before you plan to cook it, let it thaw overnight in the fridge.

In the morning, dump all the ingredients from the bag into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
