1 box of Devil’s Food Cake mix, substitute Guinness for the water and follow the instructions on the back of the box.

Mix in 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips into the batter. Back as directed. Allow to cool.

Irish Whiskey Salted Caramel Frosting
Cream 1 1/2 sticks of softened butter. Mix in 2 1/2 cups of sifted powdered sugar, and beat until smooth. For different flavored frostings , add vanilla if you want vanilla flavored frosting, cocoa powder if you want chocolate frosting, peppermint essence for peppermint frosting—you get the picture.

For this recipe, use 1/3 to 1/2 cup caramel dessert sauce and beat in 1-2 tbsp Irish whiskey into the buttercream until everything is smooth and creamy.
