3/4 lb round steak, cut into thin slices
2 tbsp oil
1 3/4 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg brown and wild rice mushroom mix
1/4 cup short, thin green pepper strips

Heat oil in skillet. Add meat and cook until no longer pink. Add water, salt, rice and contents of seasoning packet; stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in pepper. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered 5 minutes, or until desired consistency. Serves 4.
