1/4 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 (16 oz) can French-style green beans, drained
1 tbsp dried onion flakes
1 (8 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 tsp garlic powder and seasoned salt
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup cracker crumbs or small can onion rings

Melt butter in saucepan adding soup and cream cheese. Cook over heat, stirring occasionally just until cream cheese is melted and mixture if fairly smooth. Remove from heat and stir in next 6 ingredients. Pour in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish and sprinkle with crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30 minutes.
