1 lb fresh green beans
1 large onion, diced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Wash and cut beans into 1 inch slices. Cook in water until partially cooked, about 8 minutes. Drain; dump into a 2 quart casserole dish. Saute onions and mushrooms are lightly browned. Mix sour cream into onion mixture and spread on top of beans. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
