1 (4 serving size) instant vanilla pudding
1 3/4 cups cold milk
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
1 (12 oz) pkg pound loaf, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 pint strawberries, sliced or 1 (16 oz) can peach slices, drained
2 1/2 cups marshmallows
3 tbsp sliced almonds, toasted
Prepared pudding as directed except use 1 3/4 cups cold milk. Cover pudding with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, mix until well blended. Fold in 2 1/2 cups whipped topping. Layer 1/2 each of cake cubes, pudding mixture, strawberries and marshmallows in a 2-quart serving bowl, repeat layers. Top with remaining 1 cup whipped topping and almonds. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
