1 lb sausage, at room temperature (I use Italian)
1 recipe Bisquick biscuit dough
Using Bisquick, make up 1 recipe of biscuit dough. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Spread sausage over the dough. Roll up like jelly roll. Freeze hard. Cut into thin slices while frozen. Place on cookie sheet & bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes or till sausage is done & dough is brown.
NOTE: I add shredded cheese on top of the sausage before rolling.
